Pula is preparing for a record-breaking Advent. From 30 November 2025 to 11 January 2026<\/strong>, the city will host a packed program combining tradition, entertainment and gastronomy across six different locations. The announcement was made today at a press conference by Mayor Pe\u0111a Grbin<\/strong>, joined by Sanja Cinkopan Korotaj<\/strong>, Director of the Pula Tourist Board, and Tanja Mili\u010di\u0107<\/strong>, Director of the public institution Pula Film Festival<\/em>, the main organizer of the event.<\/p>

Arena: the most spectacular ice rink<\/strong><\/p>

Once again, the highlight of Pula\u2019s Advent will be the Arena, which will host the spectacular ice rink, expanded this year to 900 square meters<\/strong>. From 5 December to 11 January<\/strong>, visitors will be able to skate within the ancient Roman amphitheater, surrounded by illuminated porticoes, light tunnels, snow-covered pines and festive installations.<\/p>

\u201cAdvent confirms that Pula is no longer just a summer destination. Last year we recorded more than 100,000 visitors, and this year we expect even higher numbers thanks to the larger space and a richer program,\u201d said Mayor Grbin<\/strong>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Family entertainment and gastronomy<\/strong><\/p>

The City of Graz Park<\/strong> will serve as the center of activities for children, offering performances, creative workshops and a visit to the house of Santa and Mrs. Claus. On weekends, the City Market<\/strong> will come alive with concerts and the traditional Giant Pan<\/strong>, where seafood risotto will be offered free of charge. A new feature this year is the Advent wreath<\/strong> placed around the Market fountain: each Sunday a candle will be lit, accompanied by local choirs.<\/p>

Concerts and New Year\u2019s Eve celebrations<\/strong><\/p>

From 12 December to 3 January<\/strong>, Port\u2019Aurea Square<\/strong> will host a rich musical program featuring top performers such as Vanna, Klapa \u0160ufit, Hiljson Mandela, Psihomodo Pop, Bu\u010d Kesidi, Silente, Mile Kekin, Pips, Chips & Videoclips<\/strong> and more. The Forum Square<\/strong> will instead provide a more intimate atmosphere with jazz, classical music and Christmas repertoire.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

On 31 December<\/strong>, the city will celebrate the New Year with a double event: at noon, Port\u2019Aurea Square<\/strong> will feature a concert by young rapper Lima Len<\/strong>, while in the evening the legendary Gustafi<\/strong> will take the stage. At the same time, in Forum Square<\/strong>, Neno Belan<\/strong> will welcome 2026 with his greatest hits.<\/p>

Organization and visual identity<\/strong><\/p>

Advent in Pula is organized by the public institution Pula Film Festival<\/em>, with the support of the City of Pula<\/strong> and the Pula Tourist Board<\/strong>.
